High Frequency Words–Bingo Games

Each of the following Bingo games covers 25 of the first 250 high frequency words. Use them in small groups under your direction, or that of a classroom volunteer. I like to use circle-shaped cereal as game markers. Students can eat them at the end of the game!

High Frequency Words–Concentration Games

Students can play these engaging games in small groups or as a center activity.  Each game features 25 of the first 250 high frequency words.  I’ve only had one student in all my years who wasn’t actively engaged by Concentration!

Read and Follow Directions Activities

Your students can make some lovely flashcards each month for interactive classroom games.   Download the directions on the Arts Files page.  These items can also be used to make seasonal decorations or greeting cards.
