My Adventures in Space: Student Journal

Give your little astronauts a place to draw and write about what their space adventures. Primary and elementary lines are included. You could have your youngest astronauts dictate their space adventures, then trace over your writing if appropriate.

Blast Off!: A “Go Fish” Game about Space

Students will have a fun time learning about the solar system with this version of “Go Fish.” There are many other ways to use these cards–for research, reading practice, playing Concentration, and letting students make up their own games!

Space Bingo

Children can learn a lot from pictures and labels. This Bingo game allows them to practice new vocabulary and gain understanding from new words and images associated with Space. There are 8 different Bingo boards, 40 caller cards, and you can print off as many markers as you wish.

Savanna Safari

Build a savanna—right in your own classroom—using butcher paper, construction paper, cutouts (included) and silk plants. Then stock your “savanna” with reading materials, games, and manipulatives that your students can use to explore this amazing biome. Individual items are also available separately.

Mayflower: Display Cards

Sixteen Display cards, modeled after museum plaques describe the Mayflower for beginning readers. (Four reading levels are included in the set: K-1, 2-3, 4-5, 6-8.) Each card shows an image and describes an item found on the Mayflower ship.

Pennsylvania Dutch Christmas Stockings: Read and Make Craft

The colorful, beautiful, and symbolic motifs used in the artwork of the Pennsylvania Dutch make lovely cards and Christmas stockings. Two sets of materials include “Read and Follow Directions” worksheets that walk students through making a cut-and-paste Christmas stocking in the Pennsylvania Dutch genre.

May Day Flower Basket: Read and Make Craft

This “Read and Make” craft activity will give your students practice for standardized test items about following directions, as well as a lovely flower basket to give a friend, teacher, or mom. You can use this product with the whole class, in small groups, or at a center. It’s made from standard school supplies and comes with two reading levels.

Natural Resources of Colonial America: Classroom Center
