Send your kids individualized bookmarks for Valentine’s Day. There are 32 different (although fairly corny) bookmarks with notes already written to print on the back. There are several ways to use them:
- Print only the bookmark.
- Print the bookmarks and the messages (2 sided) as presented.
- Change “Your Teacher” to your own name and print them as presented.
- Address each bookmark to a student in your class for whom it fits. (The messages are based upon the various types of student personalities I had in my classes each year.)
- Write your own Valentine’s greeting.
Print them on cover stock or tag. Laminate them, cut them apart, and they are good to go. You might also want to attach a yarn or ribbon “tail” at the top, or tape them to a pencil or lollipop.
In each class, I usually had a few kids who kept these bookmarks and used them. Sometimes I would catch a student covertly rereading the note over and over. That’s a real heart warmer!

WOW, that’s great teacher Sandie! You’re really a great teacher. I’m sure your students are so close with you. 😊

One of the really great things about being a teacher is you get to be a kid for your whole life!

Agree! And you’ve done it, sister! 😊 May I call you Madame Sandie? I guess you’re older than me. 😊

Many people think Valentine’s Day is a silly idea, but I don’t think it’s ever a bad day to tell people you love that you love them! Lovin you, too!

There is nothing wrong in spreading a little love among God’s creations and people are always full of critique that should not be taken seriously, life is already too harsh and brutal. Many wishes for a fab Val Day for you too! 🙂
