To practice clothing labels, play this game during your circle time.

Choose one student to be the snowman. Each class member chooses an item from a pile of winter clothing—you can use the things the kids wore to school or get some dress up clothes for your classroom. When it’s his turn, a student holds up the item he chose, names it, tells why it’s necessary, and puts it on the “snowman.”

Play until everyone has put something on. Place items from your dress up box, in your indoor winter wonderland for play during “exploration” time.
